We were delighted by the work done on our loft by Philip and his team, which was completed in a very timely fashion. The new staircase is a beautiful match for the downstairs one and the new room in the loft is a delight. We felt very reassured by having the company's owner on site every day. We were consulted regularly about design features such as the layout and details of the en-suite bathroom. We can't believe how much space it added, or how little disruption that amount of work caused.

I am very happy to recommend Bracken Lofts to anyone contemplating a loft conversion. They made the whole process easy and as stress-free as any major work in your house could possibly be. They are a totally trustworthy family company who got on with work quickly, efficiently and with the minimum of disturbance - we were amazed at how fast things moved along. All the details and any changes which became necessary were checked with me beforehand and accurate estimates given for any additional work that I wished to have done. We were so pleased that we had decided to use them rather than any other company. Three years on and the loft looks as good as the day it was finished.

One of the great things about Bracken Lofts is that they bring in craftsmen who are at the top of their game. We were delighted with the way the picked up the original Voysey style of our Edwardian semi to create an extension to the staircase that was far better than we could have imagined. The tapering suspended upright and the detail make it hard to believe that they were not there before the loft conversion. When people who know about these things visit, they particularly admire the use of space, the stairs and the plasterwork. They were also careful with our money when options arose, which we appreciated.
